About
Annie He (b. 2003) is a visual artist and illustrator from Shenzhen, China, currently based in Los Angeles. She is a graduate of ArtCenter College of Design, where her practice developed around exploring the relationship between nature and the human condition.
Growing up between different cultural contexts has deeply shaped her perspective and visual language. Her work blends Eastern and Western influences, drawing from history, mythology, religion, and fantasy. She is particularly interested in themes of nature, plant life, and feminine strength.
Working across drawing, painting, and collage, Annie creates immersive visual worlds where the organic and the symbolic intertwine. Her practice centers on translating internal experiences—emotion, memory, and perception—into tangible forms.
For Annie, art is a way of making meaning visible.
